Creating a video presentation using the Doc to video feature is an easy and convenient method if you have notes, docs, or a URL link.
Step 1
Once you have signed into Keytake, you will be taken to the projects home screen.
Select the Doc to video feature to get started.
Step 2
Here, you will see the screen that will ask you to select how you want to upload your information to Keytake.
Currently, you are able to select from the following formats:
1. Import from Google Drive - Google Doc, PDF, Word
2. Upload a file - PDF, Word, TXT file
3. Start from scratch - this allows you to copy and paste your content directly into Keytake
4. Import URL - any valid URL link*
*For best results, we recommend pages that do not contain a lot of ads, as this can affect the quality of your presentation content. If there are a lot of ads, we recommend copying and pasting the content and using Start from scratch.
Step 3
Once you have uploaded your content, you will be shown a summary screen. On the left-hand side, it will display the information you have uploaded and a suggested title.
On the right-hand side is the use case, target audience, and tone that Keytake thinks is a good fit for your presentation. If needed, you can change these to suit your needs.
Once you are happy with your selection, click Next to proceed to the next step.
Step 4
Now it's time to review your presentation outline.
Based on the information you uploaded and the categories you have selected, Keytake has created an outline and structure for your presentation.
If you would like to make changes to the structure, you are free to move around the sections by selecting the section, clicking on the six dots on the left-hand side, then dragging it to where you would like, or click on the trash can icon to delete the section.
Click next to move to the next section to pick your template.
Step 5
After finalizing your structure, Keytake will select the best template for your presentation. You will also have the choice to browse other templates and pick a different one.
After you have selected the template design of your choice, click Create Video to start generating your presentation video.
Congratulations!
You just created a video presentation using Doc to video!
